About Emily

Emily Bowmile is a multi-instrumentalist and composer based out of Montreal, Canada specializing in the Alto Saxophone.

A graduate of Concordia University's acclaimed music program with a specialization in jazz performance, Emily has captivated audiences from coast to coast as a band leader.

With experience playing shows in small intimate settings
to notable performances at major events including the
Rogers Cup and TU Jazz Festival, Emily is ready to bring
her adaptive style to a wide range of audiences. 

Following the release of her first album of original music in
2019, Emily has gone on to direct a big band as well as
several small ensembles including her project
“The Conn Artists”.

Her work has earned her ambitious praise and the
accolade of being a feature artist on Radio Quebec
International. 

Emilys music is inspired by Coltrane, Cannonball and her sax teacher, Montreal Jazz legend Dave Turner. 

Available to bring her adaptive style to a variety of audiences and venues, Emily is looking to share her passion of music through performance and teaching.
